Outside Lakeland's city limits, Polk County is still a working agricultural county — cattle pasture, citrus groves, and small horse properties stretch out toward Fort Meade, Frostproof, and Mulberry, and none of that land calls for the same fencing a suburban backyard does. We install galvanized woven wire field fence, high-tensile smooth and barbed wire, and welded cattle panels sized to the animal and the acreage, not a decorative residential product stretched further than it was built for.
Agricultural fencing gets priced and engineered differently than a residential job: corner and end posts need real bracing to keep hundreds of feet of tensioned wire from pulling them over, line-post spacing depends on the wire type and what you're containing, and gates have to be wide enough for a tractor, a stock trailer, or a truck rather than a person walking through. We handle all of that as part of the quote, along with walk-gates and cattle guards where a property needs both vehicle and pedestrian access.
A lot of our farm and ranch work doubles as grove or perimeter protection — keeping deer and hogs out of citrus and vegetable acreage as much as keeping livestock in. Whether it's a few acres of pasture or a longer grove-line perimeter, we'll walk the property, talk through wire type and spacing for what you're actually containing or excluding, and give you a per-foot price before we start.
